SOSSC receive Swim21 Accreditation

Members of Southend on Sea Swimming Club were joined by Council Derek Jarvis, the portfolio holder for Culture and Tourism and David Robinson the President of the East Region Amateur Swimming Association to celebrate the club receiving swim21 accreditation. Swim21 is the Amateur Swimming Association’s ‘quality kite mark’. It recognises nationally and regionally the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality . Southend on Sea Swimming club first achieved the accreditation in 2007 at competitive development level and have now reaccredited for another four years adding accreditation for their highly successful teaching Academy and masters section. David Robinson congratulated the club on this excellent achievement and thanked all the volunteers and support staff involved in the lengthy accreditation process for their hard work and commitment to the club and wished the club continued success.
